The Jamaica Stock Exchange (“JSE”) is an august establishment which was integrated in 1968 and began operation in 1969. The JSE began its operation on the Financial institution of Jamaica (BOJ) constructing and moved to its current constructing located at 40 Harbour Road in 1998. The JSE’s principal mandate is the mobilization of capital to facilitate the expansion and improvement of corporations and by extension the economic system.
