In addition to their ship and warship building capabilities, they are engaged in engineering and engine production activities. As a portion of their engineering division, the company manufacture deck machinery items, pre-fabricated portable steel bridges, and marine pumps. Their shipbuilding division contributes a significant majority of their revenue from operations.
They believe and developed their modern integrated infrastructure facilities available at their shipyard coupled with their vast expertise give them a significant edge over another domestic defense shipyard. The Company has been taking steps to ensure simplification in the process and procedures, adopt modern practice and technology, enhance capacity and modernize infrastructure and improve on governance. The Main Works Unit allows them to use modular construction when building warships, which enable them to reduce the shipbuilding period, improve quality through the implementation of integrated construction technology, and to construct ships in line with the global practices in the shipbuilding industry.
